Create your own delicious treats with our Chef’s very own Chocolate Brownie recipe.

Ingredients

• 100g PLAIN FLOUR
• 100g DARK CHOCOLATE
• 80g COCOA POWDER
• 360g CASTOR SUGAR
• 175g BUTTER OR MARGERINE
• 4 EGGS

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C / Gas mark 4. Grease and line baking tray
2. In a large bowl melt the butter and chocolate together
3. In a separate bowl combine the sugar, cocoa and flour
4. Add the two mixtures together, add the eggs and beat well until glossy
5. Pour the combined mixture into the lined baking tray and cook for 25 – 30 minutes on 180°C / Gas mark 4 until cooked
6. Empty onto a cooling rack and once cooled slice and dust with icing sugar
