EMRAL HOUSE

NURSING HOME

JOBS AND CAREERS

As an equal opportunity employer, Emral House proudly offers employment to individuals of every nationality, colour, religion, ethnic group and sexual orientation in a fully inclusive family. We also welcome applicants with disabilities.

By encouraging continuous and ongoing training over the years, many individuals initially taken on as junior carers or housekeepers have progressed to careers with other organisations such as the Local Authority Social Services Department and the NHS having completed foundation courses such as NVQ and QCF while working at the home. Enrolled nurses have progressed to RGN status or nursing degree level.

Emral House has also historically worked closely with various University Schools of Nursing to provide mentorship for student nurses on placement with us and these have gone on to occupy senior positions in other organisations. Foreign nurses have undergone adaptation courses at the home and eventually moved on to more senior positions in the NHS.

The home has always paid the Real Living Wage as its minimum wage and provides training in a wide range of disciplines.

Interested parties should contact the manager in the first instance either by phone, letter or email or simply by dropping in.
